This is Southdown in Houma, Louisiana. The postcards normally leave off the oak tree. I think that is a mistake.

A beautiful structure with lovely architectural style. I wonder if it is haunted as so many of those old houses are. Well captured.

I am simply captured by this style of home, its a very beautiful photograph and one area I would dearly love to visit.
