About This Image

During a recent winter cold snap from the Antarctic (where it snowed on the city for the first time in my life, some forty nine years!), I captured this snow-bow at the base of Mount Egmont. The entire mountain was obscured by snow cloud & I'd never seen a rainbow like this before.

What a pretty view.. I don't think I have ever heard about or seen a snow rainbow. We don't talk about snow much out here in the Mohave Desert LOL.. Great Photo! I really enjoyed it.. ~Alan~
