A quick smile for the camera as this polar bear lounges. Taken at the Denver Zoo, famous for Klondike & Snow who were twins that were raised completely by the zoo staff.

It is sad, but this bear, named Olaf, died from liver cancer this past Saturday. He was 22 years old. He was the father of Klondike, Snow, Ulaq and Berit. We'll miss him!

I've seen these guys real energetic, but not this day. Maybe next time I'll be able to get him swimming in an underwater view.

Lovely Polar Bear capture! He looks quite happy in his surroundings; this is a lovely, natural shot. :)
