About This Image

This waterfall is near Lake Blanche which is half way up Big Cottonwood Canyon near SLC, Utah.

It was quite the adventure to get this angle. I had to go around a lake, through bug-filled marshland, and then make my way down a slickrock canyon. I really need to learn how to rock climb, it would have been a lot easier.

There is something about waterfalls that I always love. It is a shame with all the water we have in Louisiana that there are few waterfalls due to lack of altitude.

That tree looks as if it's almost passed its shelf-life. Great angle looking up the waterfall.
