Skimming the Waves

The guy pops out of the water many times, just not here. I have learned that a key skill for an action photo of this sort is anticipation. This subject (kite surfing)is a great action shot, because it has everything you could want: Fast movement, explosions of water, athletic moves and lots of color with the kites. We have just entered the season again, and I hope to get some more good shots of this sort.

You've got this down to a fine knack - the speed and the adrenalin in the moment. The guy looks as if he's about to pop right out of the water.
