About This Image

This is a very old shipwreck close to Patea breakwater. It is often covered by the sand. Every now and then we get a glimps of this rusting beatuy

Vicky thank you. I find it amaising that a steam driven boat as old as this is still here.

What a treat. Old wrecks emerge occasionally along the Outer Banks, but it's illegal to remove anything from them. This is a great image. Vicki
