This is a ship on the Mississippi River. It is still open for commerce even since Katrina happened.

Thanks. Big ships come up and down the Mississippi River all of the time. One of the biggest ports nationwide, by weight, is in the River Parishes where I live. It transports grain and steel. That's right, steel. Bayou steel is a steel refinery right in my town of LaPlace.

Thanks, I waited for the ship to get in just the right position for me to take this. I did email my son about the tribute. Now, perhaps I should email him a copy of the tribute. Pay tribute to people while they are alive. It will be too late when they or you are not.
