thankyou Ikka. Yes, I know the movie series you wrote about. "Lassie" I believe you are thinking of. This dog in the photo is a "miniature" Lassie who was a Collie, the small versions are known as Shelties here in North America.

That coat is in beautiful condition and the backlight really shows it up. A beautiful dog.

Hi Jim, thanks very much, - good to hear from you! Glad you like the photo. It was taken in a rush, the family were at a picnic table near us, and I wasn't sure if they'd want me taking their dog's pic, - so it hopped off the bench and I took my opportunity, rather hurriedly, but am happy the way the shots turned out : )
