About This Image

The village where George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) lived for more than 40 years. The village is reached along very narrow country lanes and also boasts of a 14th century inn, a ruined church, a neo-classical church and very pretty cottages.

Vicky, I had a Kodak C330 when I took the photographs of 'A Hertfordshire Lane', 'Shaw's Coner' and a 'Spring Evening in Aston Bury Woods'. Last summer I bought a Kodak Z710 and the 'Bluebells in Monkswood' was taken with that. Thank you for your kind comments about the photos. They are much appreciated. Paul

Another lovely image, Paul. Gorgeous Spring colors. What kind(s) of camera(s) are you using? Vicki

I like this very much! I think the eye is drawn to the pink coloured tree at the bottom of the lane but I also like the wooden posts at the side of the road, especially the crooked one! :)
