About This Image

It looks quite rough at the moment but in another few weeks it will have all greened up and will look nice and green and clean again, the job for now is to rake all the boxthorn up and burn it.

Thanks Alandra for looking in, the boxthorn is grown as a hedge over here, it's "all" sharp barbs, they say at certain times of the year they are poison, but I think any time of the year, they will go into shoes, gumboots and even cause punchers in car tyres, when the hedges have being cut, it pays to tread very carefull.

Hi Lorraine, that does look sharp! am all behind with my comments to everyone, sorry about that. thanks for yours on mine. I haven't heard of box thorn here, but have heard of buckthorn. they have different names for the same thing sometimes. wonder if it is the same plant.

Thanks Carol for looking in, all the rubbish thats being cut has to be raked up and burned, at certain times of the year this is poison not someting that you want to stand on or have animals stand on.

Very interesting, hope to see it after it has been burned and the greenery appears. Carol
