hello again, Brian. I like the white plume on it's head, resting on its back here. we have lots of Great Blue herons in our area, but this one looks smaller and quite a bit different to the "great blues". very nice anyway, whatever it is.

what a pretty heron, wonder what type it is? Nice coloured feathers it has.
