Thank you. I like it too. I'm surprised that I looked like that so long ago. I look pretty much the same now, except more gnarly.

I like the black and white self-portrait. A rather pensive look I feel especially for a "geezer". I do like the photograph.

Thank you all for your nice comments. On that word "geezer". Some people take offense if you call them a geezer. I don't mind. It is a funny sounding word and it fits me to a "T". You use a tripod, of course, to do a self-portrait. Just choose a background, line it up, set the timer and pose! If your camera does not have auto-focus, you will have to put something in your place and focus on that beforehand. With autofocus, you don't even need to do that.

great portrait, Gary, - a face full of character, good character too. would also like to know how you do this, altho guess it was with a tripod and "regular" camera if you say it was sometime ago. Am sure you know I love the word "geezer" as think we've discussed this before, - have with many other people anyway, ever since one longtime friend wrote us one recent Christmas, stating they are now officially "geezers", and I thought it was a priceless description, fitting the category ourselves also LOL, just the other day was writing to another longtime friend about us both being in this state : ) - hope she appreciates the funny side of it, - we've known each other since we were about 14, so she should get a smile outof it. Might as well laff about it, as there's not much else a person can do, right. And as one Dr told me onetime, some years ago "it's better than the alternative" : )

Great black and white portrait. I have not figured out how to get a good shot of myself, yet.
