About This Image

A zoomed away version of this had been saved on my camera. This is the seawall at Lake Pontchartain. It can also be seen in the picture Casting The Net. The seawall is a great gathering place for natives of New Orleans. When the weather gets very rough the waves actually crash over this seawall and spray goes onto the road. The distance from seawall to road varies along the lake. The length of the seawall is about 10 miles.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, those steps have been around for quite some time. My Dad caught crabs along this wall when he was a boy.
