About This Image

This Scarlet tanger is very timid when it comes to visiting our birdfeeders but it will watch from our maple tree when we are out and about.

wonderful shot, Carol. What lovely birds these are! Have never seen a tanager of any type (am not sure how many types there are, even) Have you had these at your property other summers, or is this a first time visitor?

Beautiful photo Carol.. Really nice colors, the bird sure does stand out. I like how the sun is on the leaves by the bird, and the darker ones in the background works perfect.
