Thank you for your nice comments. I was bicycling, and he was standing right next to the path. I was a little nervous taking this picture, because I was close enough that he could have easily pecked me, and he was keeping a close eye on me. But, I decided it was worth the risk to get such a close shot.

I get to catch up on your previous work now that you haven't posted today. What fun it is to now get to view some of your older unseen work. This one just popped out at me. What a great shot of this crane. The details are stunning. The red top knot sure stand out. Wonderful DOF with the blurred out background.
