About This Image

The building on the left is slanted so that astronomical observations could be made by the ruins. The large structure was a sacrificial altar. You used to be able to climb to the top but not any more due to vandals.

It was one of my favorite parts of the cruise.

I would love to go to these ruins. My stepdaughter did this for her honeymoon and loved it.
