Thanks Jas,Mary,Ann and Karen for the lovely comments,they are a magical little bird. I like how when im out in the garden how they will come right up and hover right in front of me and then in a flash they are gone, quick little birds they are.

Great that you captured this one sitting still for a moment. This is the type we have here. One hung in the air in front of me and I heard a small cheeping sound---I didn't know they could make sounds. Thanks for capturing this one for us.

Interesting to see a different view of the Rubythroated Hummingbird. The feather detail is very good and they are such a lovely shade of green. :)
