Thanks for the great comments Zoya and Ann,this is a young hummer and doesn't fly very long at a time yet.He just goes a short ways and lights.I'm sure it won't take him long to build up his stamina.

The color and texture of this hummingbird are so pleasing to the eye. The branch balances this wonderful capture of the ruby throat hummer. The photograph is so clear and a very enjoyable macro.
