Ruby throated Hummingbird

Nicely done, Alex. Is this a female ruby-throated? I saw some like her out here - the males buzzed, but one like this had a lovely song. I really like the added flowers for color oomph, and applaud you for the clear nectar. (Many of the red prepared nectar formulas can eventually blind the tiny birds. A friend who owns a wild bird shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan told me that many years ago. Hopefully newer mixtures no longer use the same dye). Vicki
