That is a good question KM. Now I am eager to find out. I can say, we haven't seen any other white geese around here before. Not at my Mom's or any of the other little ponds near us. I wondered if he would mate and was happy to see he did. Maybe it had something to do with his small brood? I am going to research this...

Are those hybrid geese? Are the parents the same kind of geese? Lovely family portrait.
