The river Nidd has carved a beautiful gorge in this part of North Yorkshire, and the small town of Knaresborough (home to the famous Petrifying Well also known as Mother Shipton's) is built on the steep slopes.

that's a very pleasing image with the viaduct reflected so nicely in the river Nidd. Very pretty scene.
