About This Image

A part of my daughter's kitchen. The stove is
great as it is wood burning. It not only helps with heating the room but also bakes/cooks the
dinner.

That's charming! I've never been to Maine, but my sister lives in Vermont, and she has a big stove like this. Not green! I think hers is cast iron black.

Thank you Ikka for stopping by my photo. Yes there are many old and unique things about my daughter's home. On Holiday her house is filled with wonderful smells of turkey. Greenery and berries are placed about the rooms. Her tree is always large and colorful. It stands next to the harvest table where the family sits and has a wonderful Holiday feast. Good memories.

Indeed viewing this capture you get the mood of old days, like Don described it. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks Don for stopping by my photo. She lives in a mountain side home. This is only half of her kitchen. She has modern appliances which are not in view. She keeps the uniqueness of the lodge style home.

A very pretty stove your daughter has Anne. It would be a great place to sit with a cup of coffee on a cold day, and catch the scent of wood smoke mixed with a big pot of soup cooking. Neat capture of a comfortable kitchen. Don
