About This Image

hummingbird reflection in the gazing ball, and sunken patio garden and house reflection also. The little lily pond is behind the greenery at the L side of the image and the waterway runs down towards the pond, but can't really be seen here. In real life, all this is reversed tho', due to this being a reflection of everything.

captured from open front window. I hide behind the hanging baskets : )

thankyou Jas, for the nice comments. The garden doesn't look like this right now, as this scene was from last summer, but I just chanced across this photo while looking for a specific image for someone, and realized this one hadn't been displayed here, so uploaded it. Was it 2 years ago at this time that you were both visiting Vancouver the last time? Hard to believe.

Another great hummingbird capture Alandra! I can imagine you 'hiding' behind those baskets. LOL As always, your garden is full of colour, as shown in the reflection here and the little bird is a gem. :)

thanks again, Karen, - just found this image while going through them today, - it's from last summer, - one that I'd never bothered with, - but it does show a very clear reflection in the gazing/mirror ball, so thought I'd upload it. I think a shower must've cleaned the pollen from the gazing ball, as it's clearer here than in some of the images : ) We do hose the mirror ball off when we water the flowers too, but it's surprising how fast the pollen gathers on it.

Another beautiful hummingbird photo! I love how this captures your lovely and colorful garden in the reflection. No wonder the wildlife comes to your garden.
