Yes indeed,suprised about the bright feathers,have seen before but never saw the bright feathers,nice picture and educational as well! Love Nancy

thanks Steve, - the view is unusual, but thought some might like to see the bright coloured tail feathers, so am glad you did. I was surprised also at their brightness, as when we normally see these hawks, we are viewing them from underneath, as they are perched on telephone poles, or in flight, so didn't realize how bright the tops of the tail feathers are.
