By any name this is a lovely, "red flower". The star shaped petals are exquisitely and daintily marked, yet at same time definantly flaunt their strength and character of survival. Great shot.

This might also be a Penstemon centranthifolius; Scarlet Bugler.

I'm trying to figure out what type of flower this is. It looks like it might be a Lobelia cardinalis var. pseudosplendens; Lobelia. If you know for sure, please let me know.
