This red dragonfly was in my yard today. He was hard to capture and I didn't get much of his wing detail. But he was a very beautiful red.

Thanks Alandra, that's kind of you! I was trying to figure out what kind it is and I found a site: http://www.azodes.com/dragons/skimmers/skim-neon.asp According to the pictures on-line, it looks like the Neon Skimmer. He was really pretty! ~Shawna

I think you captured it beautifully! Reminds me of a fairy or wood nymph, (whatever that is, have read about them, lol)
