A Red Bellied Woodpecker, perched on a power mast.
This was a hand held shot 300mm zoom, taken from a parking lot where we stayed in Key Largo.
This little chap took great delight in 'hammering' on the metal part of the mast every morning, at exactly 7.04am. A great wake-up call??

great shot, Jas. Fiona has told me that certain birds hammer away on her roof too, on the metal surrounding the chimney etc, making a loud noise : )
