About This Image

This plant has the most beautiful leaves, especially when the sun shines through them, they seem transucent, but I couldn't get a good photo of that. Anyhow, the Ramp is a member of the onion/garlic family (I never heard of it before moving here) The bulb is very good when cooked and put into meatloaf, eggs or fried potatos. IF eaten raw, you will put off a strong odor for awhile.

Thanks you Alandra and Mary for your comments. It may be next spring before I can get more Ramp photos.
