I caught a shot of this little guy at quite a distance. I had the lens at full extension and was barely able to get this photo.

There it is, a quail on the sidewalk and I can't even find one out here in the woods.LOL What a great shot Gary.

Really nice shot Gminniss.. I hear ya about quail being hard to photograph. I finally got a photo of one and only because it got stuck in my yard and did not want to fly over the fence lol.. They sure are strange but pretty birds.
