Interesting to read your comments about the seals residing in the bay. This one does look very proud, almost as if he's 'showing off', but you can also see that he's enjoying the warm sunshine. :)

You will note on the sea lion pictures, (I have a few) these animals are pretty scarred up. These are not zoo or aquarium animals, but ones that reside in San Francisco Bay during the spring/summer season. They obviously take some wear and tear. If you ever come to San Francisco, it is worth the trip to visit the Sea Lions out by Pier 39. It is like a free pass at the zoo. Be sure to bring your camera.
