About This Image

signs of spring appearing all over the place. These little primulas were growing in a neglected garden area beside the river, so couldn't resist capturing some images of them

thanks Alex, -- sure hope your snow will soon go. However, once your spring starts there, it usually progresses fast and remains that way, whereas ours starts earlier but sometimes comes and goes as if it can't make up its mind to stay or not : ) but all in all, we do get off pretty lightly in this area and are grateful for that.

Oh Boy,thats a welcome sight, huh? What a pretty flower. Our gardens are still under 5 feet of snow so there won't be any blooms here for a while.

thanks Anne, glad it brightened your day as it did mine when I saw them in the little forgotten border yesterday. It's not the best closeup, as was taken with telephoto lens as I was capturing the swan images nearby, but couldn't resist the primulas.

Such an enjoyable photograph Alandra. The color is so delicate, beautiful and certainly is hope for the summer to come. Thanks for sharing.
