Hi Beverly, Golda, Karen, and Alandra.. Thank You all very much for your nice comments. I'm sorry it took me a couple years to reply to most of you.. I'm a bad boy. Karen I have heard different names for cactus but can't remember them, Fruits Tunas sounds yummy to me :) Yea once you get past the needles they are ok to eat LOL.. It's too much trouble for people. Even the birds and critters don't want to mess with them.

Alan this is very unique and an interesting view. Is this the same cactus that you once took looking like a foot?? :-) You know it looks like you could pick one of those thingies and eat it?? Hum? Darn this diet I'm on.... lol

The Spanish speaking people call these fruits tunas. They are edible and can be made into jelly.
