About This Image

By request, I adjusted the framing. My original intent was to keep it simple - but I got carried away again!

Thank you for your generous comment, Evelyn. Last night Mike and I drove around the north campground after dark. We passed at least 50 of them calmly walking around between the empty sites and cabins. I was afraid to use flash and spook them, so we simply savored the time being allowed to get close to the beautiful creatures. Our campground is in two sections - both will be packed over the long weekend for Memorial Day. I doubt that the deer will be as visible for a few days. Vicki

Thanks for your input, Doug and Don. Love the humor! It could well be twins - as low as her underside is she appeears to be close to delivery. Vicki

Thank you for your great comments, Cindy, Mary, May and Alex. I did stay inside the truck when I got my deer images that day. I don't know if that was why they felt more secure. We even backed up for a better view, and that didn't appear to bother them more than an ear twitch. I'm glad you enjoyed this beautiful doe too. Vicki
