Portrait of My Father

About This Image
This is a picture of a picture of my father's photograph at graduation from college. It's good to see my father young and hadn't gone through his life at this point. He got a degree in civil engineering and went on to join the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers and was sent to Panama for a few years then WWII. He kept that career and studied and became a pharmacist and bought his uncle's business. He and my mother semi retired and moved to a home on the coast of Maine. I am proud of my Father and all that he was. Oh yes, he played the trombone and was a member of the band in college. He later used his trombone to signal me when down on the shore and he on the back porch. At that point I had three children and we loved finding treasures in and amoung the rocks from old ships. Memories of my Father and his life.
