About This Image

This has got to be one of my favourite photographs!  Portland Head, Maine, USA, is somewhere I've wanted to visit for a long time; ever since first seeing an image posted right here on The Lens Flare.  At last I got to see it for myself even though I had to travel thousands of miles to do it and got my very own photograph too!  It was well worth the trip and I was lucky enough to see it on a good day too.....hope you like it!

Thanks, this is one of 3 non-leather shoes I own. Rouge is one of those rock-bottom dollar shoe bdrnas, I usually stay away from. But this shoe was really cute and the construction was not bad at all. Usually those types of shoe bdrnas are poorly made with all the glue showing, poor sizing, plastic heels that can't be fix by a shoe repair shop, bad stitching, etc. So I was surprise to find that shoe was made very nicely and that it was true to size. Usually that is not the case.

Hi Jas.. What a beautiful photo of the lighthouse. I've also seen some photos of this one and would love to get my own but it's way too far away for me :) I like how you caught the wave crashing on the rocks and the sky and clouds really adds to the scene.
