beautiful pink poppy in our back garden, just after it had opened, - the petals still had a few crumples in them.
We used to have a lot of these when we moved here, but we gave a lot away years ago, and now there aren't many left.

Hi May, I don't have any orange poppy photos like this, - this one was from May 2005, and these grow in our back garden, - they're a bit later this year, but no orange ones. I gave all those away years ago, and just kept the pink ones

Alandra - beautiful. This is what I need for the poppy project - but it has to be the orange type with the dark center and smudges on the petals.

thanks Alex, for the kind comments. No, we don't have enough left to part with anymore. Funny you should say that, as my youngest grandson said the same thing, years ago, when he was a little boy, -- when I was telling him about giving some poppies to someone else he knew. He's now 16. where has the time flown away to!
