Thanks for the great comment Ann,these poppies do have very thin petals and the early morning sun really enhances the colors.I like to catch them just as the morning sun comes over the tree tops.

What delicate and colorful petals on this poppy you have captured, Whittler. The petals seem to me like tissue paper. Darkening the background really shows off this beauty of this bloom so nicely.
