This is the Ponte Vecchio bridge, in Florence. There are boutiques etc. along the bridge and it is very popular with tourists.

It's really interesting for me to see this photograph. A couple of years ago I bought a fantastic impressionist-style painting of this bridge that I just happened to come across at an art fair. It was the most expensive impulse purchase of my entire life, but I love the painting, and it now has pride of place in my house in France. I'm uploading a shot of it, although the size on TLF won't do it justice! Anyway, it's really nice to see what the bridge really looks like!
