About This Image

This is my handcrafted Pirogue. I built this boat to get into wetland areas that most boats will not go. The boat will float with me and my gear in less than 4 inches of water

Aren't you too clever. Your Piroque was a brilliant idea - and with 4" of displacement you sure have control of the waterways. It's a beautiful photo subject.

I like how the light is reflected on the dark surface of the boat. Is it made from wood?
