pink Oriental poppy, first one to open this year - these have been growing in our back garden for over 20 years, - this was captured from open upper window with a telephoto lens, looking down onto the garden.

I have neither seen a pink oriental poppy. Excellent clear shot.

thankyou Anne, for the nice comments. Am happy you enjoyed it. We used to have many of the flame coloured oriental poppies in the back garden also, but gave them away as they seemed to "clash" with these pink ones.
