Guest - Jul 06, 2007 05:52 AM EDT thanks Ikka, for the nice compliments. glad you like it. we've really enjoyed these flowers this year, - but for some reason the hummingbirds haven't been sipping from them as much as they did last summer. Too many bees around the foxgloves perhaps.
Guest - Jul 05, 2007 03:54 PM EDT Alandra a great closeup, pretty colors, with a great sharpness, congratulations!
Guest - Jun 10, 2007 01:52 AM EDT thanks May, glad the image brought back memories for you of your time in Oregon. We're enjoying these foxgloves this year as they are nicer than other years, for some reason.
Guest - Jun 08, 2007 10:39 AM EDT Beautiful macro of one of my favorite wildflowers. I had them in my yard in Oregon.
Guest - Jun 06, 2007 01:47 PM EDT thankyou Beverly. Actually I had the other half of the plant in the original image also, but the black fence in background seemed to spoil it, so I cropped it out.
Guest - Jun 06, 2007 09:16 AM EDT Such nice detail and focusing.

Guest - Jun 05, 2007 02:29 PM EDT Hi Steve, thanks for your comments too, and also for helping me out on the message board.
About the macro lens. No, I ret'd it and got an extra wide angle lens, 16-35L version2. Haven't used it much yet, but do like it very much. The lens I used to capture this foxglove image is my 24-105L lens. Just noticed that I put the incorrect lens in "tools" above, so will alter that now.
Guest - Jun 05, 2007 02:24 PM EDT thanks very much, Cindy and Dudley, am happy you like the foxglove image :) I do appreciate your nice comments.
