You're right - it doesn't have that long stamen. Hmmm, Alandra's usually pretty good with flowers - ask her!

I really appreciate your viewing and comment, but somehow I don't think this is a hibiscus. This was a smaller flower and doesn't have that long stamen (?) I associate with the Hibuscus. Not sure if stamen is the correct word or not, but that is waht came to my mind.
