Alandra, thanks for your nice comments. Obviously, we haven't had the amount of snow that you have, but because it's so 'rare' here it was quite exciting for us to see it, if only for a short while. The blooms did survive, although I think they dropped earlier than they might have if we'd not had snow. Not a good Spring here either. :)

very pretty the azalea looks, Jas, with the snow. Not sure if I've seen that colour or not, it's lovely. Hope the blooms survived. Some areas around here had a surprise late snowfall recently too. This is the worst spring we can remember.

Anne, Lorraine and Carol, thank you for viewing this snowy picture and for leaving your comments. Yes, Anne, the snow did add an extra beauty to the azelea and as it's not something we see very often, it was nice to see. Carol, I don't think snow is as damaging as frost, so hopefully the blooms will continue for a while longer and be just as beautiful. :)

How very beautiful!! The snow gave even more beauty to the Azelea. The green pushing up through snow was an added attraction. Beautiful picture!
