About This Image

This shot is through the loft area of the barn. I liked the shapes that are present in this pic, namely triagles and rectangles. This barn was built over 100 years ago though it's now just part of a ghost town.

I've been to Piedmont; it's one of the best preserved ghost towns in the Western US. It shows how simple life used to be. A house back then was usually just one room, and a large building was maybe 4-5 rooms and if you were lucky, there was an upstairs too. Today, if a person lived in a house that small, people would automatically assume that they were poverty striken. How times have changed...
