Persians, with their gently fluted edges, are delicate yet powerful. Their jewel-like colors and sensuous curving forms make them some of Chihuly's most glorious glass works.

What a wonderful photo. I have seen artists on television doing this process. What a colorful and interesting photo.

Hi Vicki, thanks for looking and commenting. The chandelier is made up of handblown glass forms. This is one of the pieces of Dale Chihuly's handblown glass sculpture on exhibit at Phipps Conservatory. This year long celebration was created to honor the significant role that glass and glass art play in the vibrancy of the Pittsburgh region.
