Capturing the wind swept snow from the lake in the near distance really adds to the depth of the pic. The beach conditions sign in the dead of winter is a great touch! Excellent eye for detail Mary.

This is a marvellous shot, Mary! I love those threatening clouds, and the placing of the sign and the fence within the frame makes for a satisfying composition. I also like the slight graininess that you can see in the large version - another great example of the new version's fantastic extra features!
