Yes, I've heard of these. I believe it may be a type of lily. Naked Lady - that name will sure attract more attention, though!

Thanks for the comment. Yep, Mom used that term too. I just did not know how to spell lycorus. Besides naked lady sounds more better. I know more better English but put more better to emphasize a point.

Dud - I have these in my garden - sometimes you can find them blooming now in lots where homes used to be. They are lycoris, grow from a small bulb. If you get lucky and dig them up after they bloom, and plant them, they'll start blooming next summer for you. Sulphur butterflies love them.
