About This Image

A downy woodpecker is in a panic as I approach to catch him and put him outside.He came into my porch after I had installed windows there.

Thanks for the great comments Ann and Sparkle,this one came right into our porch and couldn't go back the way he came i. I just grabbed my camera and caught a couple shots before I walked over to him and picked him up and turned him free.He still comes back to the feeders.

What a great capture. Those birds are skittish so he was probably panicing galore.

LOL This is so funny! What do you and Carol do to get all these birds so close??? And you with a camera by chance in your hands. lol Did the bird make out okay???
