hi steve .km.grumpy alandra,happy.pete don n whittler thank you all for the great comments ..no whittler didnt have a mouse hehe was actually out looking for that comet and heard this swoosh yikes owl was buzzing me turned my attention reset cam and caught a few of him ..trying to scare me off or checking me out ..anyway was a great exhilatering few moments ..comet pics didnt come out ..owl was a better find anyway ..fella

stunning, Fella!! missed this one earlier - it's just amazing. Wonderful sight. I had one do that last summer, fly straight towards me, but it happened so fast and it was quite close so missed getting a shot of it as didn't realize it was coming. They fly so silently.

hi fella what a wonderful sight i am lucky as i have a barn owl as a pet but this is how you should see them is it an eagle owl
