Thanx again Lulu, what about Tamatea Peak for taking sunsets shots is that a bit far for you,I find after the rain I get more distant clarity with sunsets(I think thats because the dust particles are dropped back to earth which helps clear the haze).

Oh, just remembered. My daughter went on a school field trip today to learn about weather. They showed us photos of clouds and one of them reminded me of this photo. The long, stripey clouds apparantly represent that its going to be windy. See, I learnt something today.

Well, I love sunsets and you have captured them beautifully. I am a real amateur also but don't have much luck with sunsets as I live in Hawkes Bay and we are kind of flat. Its nice to have some height above other things. Oh, I could go to Napier and do a sunrise, but I'm not keen on getting up that early. I know that this site doesn't always give the feedback that people desire, but its proving to be a good place to converse with people that share a similar interest. Keep up the sunsets, I'll try to keep making time to look at them as they are gorgeous. If I stood on the roof of my garage and took photos, all I'd get would be asparagus paddocks :-)

We thank you Lulu,we sometimes wonder why we don't get comments on our sunsets... maybe viewers don't realize we are total amatuers and we just appreciate the suns changing hues thru the seasons, alot of our shots are taken from our garage roof, we live a humble life but are fortunate to have a good view of the city... It is possible that this site is gaining in popularity and the three random pics that we all get greeted with don't come up as often due to share numbers.
